Capture them as they are!
As an professional children’s portrait photographer I know what it takes to get the best out of your child and get fantastic photos :- being funny, not afraid to look daft (me that is!) and lots of patience.
Kids love having fun so it wont take them long to get used to having their photograph being taken my studio. It doesn’t matter if your child is shy or extrovert I’ll get the best out of them and create some great portraits for you. I’ve got two young children of my own and know how they don’t always perform as you’d hope especially if they’ve had a long day. So don’t worry it just takes a little more time – I haven’t had to cancel a session yet!
I cater for a very wide age range starting from a newborn baby, young babies, toddlers and infants.
Portrait photography doesn’t stop there either, teenagers and young adults are also catered for especially if they are just about to leave home or go to university. Teenagers as young adults can be a bit self aware so again you have to put them at ease. 
All of my photographs get re-touched so it doesn’t matter if they have the odd blemish or two you’ have beautiful professional portrait pictures.
