This is the second time we’ve used Shaun, the first was for our wedding in 2006 – and he blew us away with the quality of everything he did for our wedding photos. It wasn’t until after the event that we realised the ‘extra’ stuff he does, and that is why we went to him again for the photoshoot of our 1st born Charlie in June 2010. A very patient photographer, who knows how to get the best out of those being photo’d – especially a 4 month old! He’s not the cheapest, and that’s fine if you know there’s additional value in what you get, and you do with Shaun. It is more than just a photograph, and you don’t really get that with some of the obvious high street companies. When my wife booked the session with Shaun I wasn’t too happy. However I found Shaun to be totally professional, very easy going and patient. Within minutes of meeting Shaun it felt like i had known him for years! He has a very relaxed style and listens to what you want. He was very patient with our daughter who was a month old and with me! We went back a couple of weeks later to view all the photographs with the grandparents and the presentation by Shaun was great. Paul and I were delighted when our two sons and their partners presented us with a photo session at Shaun’s studio as our joint birthday gift. Shaun made us all feel relaxed and was especially good with the children, laughing and joking with them to put them at their ease. The most difficult part of the process was trying to decide a few weeks later which photos we wanted. When our two boys were younger, we had their pictures taken reasonably regularly, so we had some experience of different styles of photography and photographers’ own personalities. Shaun clearly stood out from the rest; he was extremely funny and relaxed, putting all of us at our ease, and he took a lot of pictures in different poses, in order to get a good selection of the kind of pictures that we wanted. We took our 2 kids with us they weren’t on the best behavior, what 4 and 7 years old are! Shaun has lots of patience and really made us feel at ease. To be honest we thought he would only get a few good shots. But when we went back to view them we were amazed! Shaun was our wedding photographer in October 2009 and he was awesome. Firstly, we had an engagement shoot before the wedding where Shaun got us to relx in front of the camera so we’d enjoy it on the day. On the actual dat Shaun turned up with a headache but he snapped away from 10am through to 8pm – what a hero!!! He had my bridesmaids laughing and smiling and he managed to relax me before the actual ceremony. Shaun is the only photographer I know who has managed to get my niece to smile at the camera. Shauns photography was discreet and personal so he got some amazing snaps. All my friends and family commented at how friendly yet professional he was on the day. When we went to choose the photo’s to create the album, Shaun was friendly and full of advice. He let us take total control, only calming us down when we got over excited. When the albums arrived I was blown away. They were outstanding. He is so skilled, artistic and personable.
