Cain Manor is a beautiful oak-frame Elizabethan Manor House situated at the top of the North Downs on the Surrey / Hampshire borders and is a fantastic venue for wedding photography. This beautiful house is centred around a fantastic barn-style ballroom capable of seating 120 for your wedding banquet.
This superb ballroom is complemented by two beautiful reception rooms affording spacious entertaining space for your reception. The Banqueting Hall transforms itself into a superb Ballroom for the evening while the comfortable drawing room and library provide quieter space for those wishing to chat rather than dance.
Cain Manor is licensed for Licensed for Civil Marriage and Partnership Ceremonies inside or outside as well as being used for a reception for church weddings. Although most of the time that I’ve photographed there the bride and groom have got married there as well, most probably as you get the whole place exclusively to yourself and guests!

Cain manor – A fantastic venue for a wedding photographer.
Cain manor with its beautiful Elizabethan style frontage, dates back over 400 years and makes a fantastic photographic backdrop to any wedding. Plus its extensive grounds afford breathtaking views over Surreys Golden Valley with loads of little nooks and crannies for taking great wedding photos.
As you have the whole manor to yourselves, many Brides chose to get ready at Cain Manor rather than at home. This is great for me as a wedding photographer as I’m not constantly moving from one venue to the next, it also gives me much more time to concentrate on the bridal preparation. Plus if things are not going totally to plan I can pop downstairs and photograph the guys instead.
The house is perfect for both Summer and Winter Weddings, with the beautiful grounds providing a delightful setting for your reception in the Summer, and the cosy Library and Drawing Room keeping your guests warm in the colder months. Having an interesting inside is also something to think about in case the weather takes a turn for the worse, after all the last few summers have not been the best for us wedding photographers.
Combining warmth and comfort with lashings and lashings of style, Cain Manor is smart and contemporary without losing the feeling of being Home. Please take a look at the slide show below which gives you and idea of some of my wedding photography.
